Black Clay infers a sense of seriousness and confident sophistication. Black clay is bold and I choose to reveal it on the edges and bottom portions of vessels. The glazes that shine on black clay have saturated pigment that can withstand the dark clay body. Clean shapes with strong lines create beautiful and striking pieces.
